Conveyancing fees are a charge for legal work conducted by our conveyancer. The fee is based on a few things:
If you are remortgaging or purchasing, the loan amount or purchase price, the representation type; (dual or separate) and whether you are applying as an individual(s) or as a company.
The fees in the tables shown below will give you an indication of what you can expect to pay. These fees do not include VAT.
When you apply with us, we will show you quotes for the legal work. There are additional fees that will be due on top of the conveyancing fees which will be based on your circumstances and the property type, which are not shown in the tables below.
Conveyancing fees shown in the below tables are for both dual and separate representation. We must instruct our own conveyancer to handle our part of the legal work.
You can choose to use our chosen conveyancer (dual) or choose your own conveyancer (separate). Bear in mind, you will need to pay your own conveyancer their legal costs as well as the fee shown below if you choose your own conveyancer.
- Dual - Our chosen conveyancer carries out the legal work and acts for Molo and for you.
- Separate - If you choose to use your own, you will have to pay the fee shown below as well as any fees that your chosen conveyancer charges you
There are fees that are variable based on your type of transaction - such as if the property is leasehold or if property searches are required. More information will be provided when you apply and select your conveyancer during the application. The conveyancing firm will also describe these costs to you in more detail.
