A valuation fee will only be charged if a physical valuation is required on the property - you will be notified if this is required in advance and request payment before the valuation is instructed. The valuation fee depends on the value of the property.
A separate legal fee is payable for the conveyancing work for your mortgage.
You can choose your own conveyancer, but we’ll still need to instruct one of our preferred firms to carry out the legal work on our behalf. This will carry an additional fee to the one you agree with your own conveyancer.
If you let us choose the conveyancer from our small panel of trusted firms, they can carry out all legal work, both on your and our behalf, for an inclusive fee. Please get in touch if you’d like us to send you a quote.
